Situation: The following Diagnostic Software

when used on DME 3.1 M50 motors with a vehicle production date of 8/91 or later, and a DME 3.1 hardware number of:

1 738 376
1 738 931
1 748 037

will give erroneous readings in the DME Status Call Section only in the following categories:

Engine Speed
Intake Air Temp.
Ignition Timing
Load Signal
Oxygen Control
Tank Venting
Idle Signal
Full Load Signal
Road Speed

This is an error on the part of the diagnostic software only and has no impact on the DME Control Unit function.
