Replace Oil Pump With VANOS

REMOVING OIL PUMP

- M50 VANOS -







Unscrew nut for sprocket.

Caution!
Left-hand threads.
For tightening torque, refer to Technical Data






Lift off sprocket with chain.

Installation:
Check for tooth engagement.






Unscrew oil pump.
Unscrew intake pipe support.






Installation:
Check dowel sleeves.






Unscrew oil baffle plate.






Check for intake pipe support on main bearing No.5.
