Description of On-Board Diagnostic System

Notes on the BMW DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM:

General:

Refer to notes on the BMW DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in Power Door Lock Control Module / Description of On-Board Diagnostic System.

Without door lock heating::

- Door handle contact not installed, display in status list is always OFF.
- Wire to light switch (parking light) not installed, parking light always indicated in status display as OFF.

- Troubleshooting with the BMW DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
- Battery charged, U-min = 12 V
- If all functions of the central locking system have failed, continue diagnostic procedure with Section 5126.1A Central Locking Module.
