Engine Management (DME M1.3):

1. With the ignition switch "OFF", disconnect the throttle switch connector X6250.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the "RUN" position and make the following voltage measurements at connector X6250 (female half).

^ Brown/blue wire (terminal 1) and ground = approx. 5 volts. If not check wire to terminal 52 of X6000 for an open or short to ground. If wire is OK, Digital Motor Electronic (DME) control unit is defective.
^ Brown/black wire (terminal 3) and ground = approx. 5 volts. If not, check wire to terminal 53 of X6000 for an open or short to ground. If wire is OK, DME control unit is defective.
^ Brown/black wire (terminal 3) and brown/orange (terminal 2) = approx. 5 volts. If not check wire to ground for an open.
^ If all of the voltages are correct replace the throttle switch.
