Defect Code 20:

Malfunction: DWA failure:

Possible symptoms: Failure of DWA system; DWA system cannot be armed.

Possible cause: Voltage or ground supply of DWA control unit faulty; antitheft horn or wire to antitheft horn defective; lock microswitch defective.

Troubleshooting: Check lock signals with the aid of status monitoring and in the ZKE program. If lock signals are OK, check voltage supply of DWA control unit and repair if necessary:

From 4-pin control unit connector Pin 4 (check fuse on control unit housing) to terminal 30.

From 5-pin control unit connector Pin 4 to terminal 15.

If defect is not rectified check ground supply:

From 5-pin control unit connector Pin 2 to ground.
