Defect Code 21:

Malfunction: DWA triggers no alarm:

Possible symptoms: System triggers no audible alarm;

Possible cause: Antitheft horn defective; wire from antitheft horn to DWA control unit defective.

Troubleshooting: Measure voltage at 4-pin control unit connector Pin 1 during alarm: A voltage of approx. 12 V should be measured. If voltage is considerably less than 12 V, check wire from 4-pin control unit connector Pin 1 to DWA horn and further to ground and repair if necessary. If all wires are OK, replace antitheft horn.
