Electrical closing/opening possible also during driving:

Note:

The SCA system is deactivated at a vehicle speed above 5 km/h. It is therefore not possible to close/open the turn-catches electrically.

Due to the decoupling of the mechanical and electrical systems, all doors can be opened while driving. The turn-catch is opened mechanically after lifting the door handle beyond the mechanical detent point.

The door handle should only be lifted slightly in order to determine whether the SCA is deactivated while driving. The electrical switching point of the door handle switch can, If necessary, be determined by way of*D*test procedure "check switch".

Following check is recommended:

*D* Select diagnostic program for Instrument cluster and simulate vehicle speed signal (e.g. 20 km/h). During activation, check whether the turn-catches are closed or opened electrically by the SCA.

Troubleshooting:

In the case of defect, check wire (speed-A signal) from control module connector A Pin 16 to the instrument cluster and repair if necessary.
