Test Step 2.3

Test 2.3:

Engine in LL: ABS lamp remains on or immediately comes on again, ASC display "defect", PALA OFF:

- Is connector OK.?
Do other indicator lamps (e.g. battery charge indicator) go out?
- Check ground terminal point Pin 3, Pin 18, Pin 36 with respect to vehicle ground, approx. 0 Ohm

Engine in LL

- Check battery charge current Pin 33 to Pin 18 >12.5 V
- Replace electronic protection relay.

For these voltage checks only:
- Connect universal adapter between wire harness and control unit.

Ignition ON
- Pin 1 to Pin 18 >11.5V
- V stab. ASC Pin 16 to Pin 18 4.8 - 5.2V
- V stabv ABS Pin 24 to Pin 18 4.8 - 5.2V
