Throttle Valve Switch:

1. With the throttle valve closed, disconnect the electrical connector and connect an ohm meter between pin 2 and pin 18 of the throttle switch.

Throttle Valve:

2. Loosen screws (1), and turn the throttle switch until 0 ohms is obtained. Retighten the screws.

^ The resistance should rise immediately to infinite ohms when the throttle valve is opened slightly and drop to 0 ohms when the throttle valve returns to the near closed position.
