General Block Diagram:
Application:
The mobile telephone uses the telephone network C of the Federal German Post Office for the transfer of calls. In the C-network, incoming connections to the mobile telephone subscriber can also be set up automatically; the location of the mobile subscriber need not be known to the calling subscriber. In order to reach a telephone subscriber, the mobile telephone must be switched on, ready for operation and the caller must know the number of the service card. Outgoing call connections to subscribers of the public telephone network are, of course, also possible. Operation and the various user programs of the mobile telephone are not dealt with in these test instructions so that reference is made to the relevant operating instructions.
Maintenance Work with the Service card:
- 1. Reset the inhibit number
- 2. Reset the entire customer-specific memory contents
Handling the Service card:
- 1. Switch on the mobile telephone. "CARD PLEASE" appears in the display.
- 2. Insert service card in the card reader. "SELECTION" appears in the display.
- 3. Enter the number 11 via the keypad in the receiver or separate operating panel. "CLEAR INHIBIT NUMBER" appears in the display. The display remains for approx. 2 seconds while the inhibit number is cleared.
Important!
"CLEAR ALL" appears in the display when the number 10 is entered. In this case, the inhibit number and the entire electronic telephone directory are cleared. Use this number combination only when the vehicle is sold with a telephone or when all stored telephone numbers are to be cleared.
- 4. Remove service card from the card reader. "CARD PLEASE" appears in the display. The telephone is now ready for operation once again and can be used by any authorization card.
