Cylinder Identification Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Cylinder Identification Sensor Testing:

RESISTANCE CHECK
- Disconnect sensor harness connector.
- Measure resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the sensor.

Resistance = 0.1 - 1 ohm. If the correct measurements are not obtained, replace the sensor.


- Measure resistance between terminals (1 and 3) and terminals (2 and 3).

Resistance = Greater than 100 K ohm. If the correct measurements are not obtained, replace the sensor.
