Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Description and Operation

The intake air temperature sensor supplies information to the DME control unit concerning the temperature of the air entering the intake system. The sensor is a NTC (negative temperature co-efficient) type resistor and is located in the intake manifold.
