Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVE
- Switch "Off" ignition.
- Disconnect plug connections on cable duct:
1 = Sensor for cylinder recognition (breakerless ignition distribution)
2 = Impulse sensor for DME





- Unfasten screw on sensor.
- Unfasten retaining screw on cable guide.
- Take electric wires out of guide and remove sensor.

INSTALL
- Install in reverse order.

NOTE: When installing the sensor, ensure that O-ring is correctly seated.
