Output For Power Windows

Explanation

An output which switches the power supply for the power window motor drives via an external relay is provided for the optional extra power windows.

Function

The power windows are switched on and off depending on the coded country-specific version.

Switch-on condition for US version:

- Switch on terminal R (Ignition switch position 1).

Switch-off condition for US version:

- Switch off ignition and open driver's or passenger's door.

Switch-on condition for all other versions:

- Switch on terminal R or open driver's or passenger's door.

Switch-off condition for all other versions:

- Switch off ignition and open and close driver's or passenger's door. In any case, the power windows are switched off 16 minutes after the ignition has been switched off.
