Test Step 6

Test Step 6:

Top Switch Test:

Remove radio.
Remove top switch.
Disconnect plug from top switch.

Operate switch in open direction.
Measure resistance between pin 5 and pin 1.
Specification: approx. 0.2 ... 1 ohm.

If no: Top switch is faulty.
If yes: Operate switch in close direction.
Measure resistance between pin 5 and pin 4.
Specification: approx. 0.2 ... 1 ohm.

If no: Top switch is faulty.
If yes: Continue with Test Step 7.
