Function Description For Actuating Window

E36 (Coupe) models are fitted with power windows as standard since the
beginning of standard production.

The system consists of:
1. Tip function (one-touch function) to lower and raise window.
2. Clamping protection during automatic raising of window.
3. Window lowering control, which lowers window about 4 mm when opening door and therefore runs frameless window glass out of body seal.
4. Depending on country version, activation and deactivation of tip function via the central locking module. the central locking module activates the comfort relay.
5. the comfort relay makes it possible to operate power windows once after ignition has been switched off and door opened once, but not yet shut. the door locking contact (striker switch and locking pawl switch) is interrogated for this purpose.
