Removing and Installing Starter

REMOVING AND INSTALLING STARTER






M 20 engine:

- Pull off cap.
- Disconnect positive lead on connection point.


M 30 engine:

- Disconnect ground lead on battery (battery is located underneath the right rear seat).






M 20 engine:

- Disconnect lead (on positive connection point).






M 30 engine:

- Loosen the coolant expansion tank to improve accessibility of bolts.






Disconnect terminals 30 and 50.






Unscrew nuts with a starter wrench.


Installation:
Push starter into guide pins.
Pour In coolant and bleed cooling system.
