Idle Speed Drops W/AC On

FAULT INDICATIONS
Idle speed drops noticeably with AC "ON". Symptom is permanent (not intermittent).

FAULT TRACING CONDITIONS
Before fault tracing, ensure that:
^ No diagnostic trouble codes are present,
^ The engine is at operating temperature, and
^ All fuses are clean and intact.

FAULT SOURCES
^ Open circuit in signal lead from AC compressor.
^ Faulty idle air control valve.
