Checking Wipe/Wash Switch:

Test: Check for continuity at the 8-pin connector X295, wiper switch connector side. The switch must be removed if a resistance greater than 5 Ohm is measured in any switch position.

Wipe/wash switch with intensive wash:

Switch position Measure between:

Wash Pin 1 and Pin 5
intensive wash Pin 6 and Pin 7
Single wipe Pin 1 and Pin 2
Intermittent Pin 1 and Pin 4
Wiper stage 1 Pin 1 and Pin 2
Wiper stage 2 Pin 1 and Pin 3

Wipe/wash switch without intensive wash:

Wash Pin 1 and Pin 5
Single wipe Pin 1 and Pin 2
Intermittent Pin 1 and Pin 4
