Fuel Pump Location:

Fuel Pump Connector:

Access the Pump
1. Remove the fuel pump access cover in the trunk.

Activate the Pump
2. With the ignition "OFF" disconnect fuel pump harness connector X638.
3. Connect a fused jumper between the positive battery terminal and terminal 6 of the electrical socket on the fuel pump.
4. Connect a fused jumper between terminal 4 of the fuel pump electrical socket and ground.

^ The fuel pump should run with a smooth audible humming sound. No interruptions or laboring effort should be detectable. If the fuel pump is suspected to have insufficient output, refer to Checking Fuel Supply for testing procedures.
