Repairing Gasket Leaks

MODELS:
E34 and E36 with a THM-R1 Transmission

Complaint:

Transmission fluid leak found in the area of:

^ Main pressure tap plug
^ Front oil pan/servo cover gasket
^ Main oil pan gasket
^ Sealing plug for dip stick hole on vehicles without dipstick tube.

Correction:

If a customer complaint pertaining to a fluid leak from the locations indicated above is received, replace that gasket or plug.
