SUBJECT:
Technical Data Fiche error; A4S 310R (THM-R1) Pressure Specifications

MODELS:
E34 and E36 with A4S 310R automatic transmission and M50B25 engine

Situation:
The Technical Data No. 7 fiche dated 12/91 contains incorrect automatic transmission oil pressure values for the above mentioned models.

Solution:
When checking automatic transmission oil pressures on these models, refer to the chart for the correct values.

NOTE:
All pressure readings on the A4S 310R are taken with the wheels stopped; apply both the Foot brake and Parking brake fully.

As two of the pressure readings are taken at Stall Speed, no personnel may be in front of or behind the vehicle while testing.
