Ignition Rotor: Description and Operation

Ignition Rotor View:

PURPOSE
The ignition rotor directs high energy within the distributor. A 1K ohm resistor is molded into the rotor for radio frequency suppression.

LOCATION
The resistor rotor is mounted on the rotor adaptor at the front end of the camshaft.
