Front Door Window Glass: Adjustments

Adjusting Front Left or Right Door Window (Sedan, Touring, Compact)





Ideal adjustment:
- Door window parallel to window frame and submerged uniformly in window seal. Seal must bear uniformly on outside of door window (wind noise).
- Remove door trim panel. Service and Repair




Model with side airbag:
CAUTION! Removing and installing/replacing airbag module on left or right front door,refer to Air Bag handling.




- Pull off cover.

Installation:
- Replace cover.




- Unscrew main stop.

Installation:
Tightening torque, 9 Nm




- Adjust door window so that it is parallel to the window frame by adjusting the guide rails.




- Raise door window so there is uniform submersion in the window seal. Push down on main stop and tighten screw.

Installation:
- Tightening torque, 9 Nm
