Removing and Installing Evaporator & Heater Assembly

1. Recover freon from A/C system.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Gain access to A/C and heater housing as outlined under "Heater Core, Service and Repair".
4. Remove components, ducting and wiring necessary to gain access to cover over expansion valve/evaporator assembly.
5. Remove cover, refrigerant lines to expansion valve, then the expansion valve.
6. Remove evaporator core from housing.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Use new seals on refrigerant lines.
b. Evacuate and recharge system.
c. Check system for leaks.
