Malfunction: Code LED flashes with code function armed

Symptoms:
Code LED does not immediately stop to flash when code function of BC is armed.

Possible cause:
The BC provides the following scope of monitoring after the code function has been armed:

Radio, front lid, drive-away protection (engine start). The LED will flash for a further 8 seconds if the radio or front lid contact is not in the rest position when the code function is armed.

Troubleshooting:
Check radio and front lid contact and repair if necessary.

If contacts OK., check wire from BC to the contact and repair if necessary (from white BC connector Pin 2 to radio and front lid contact).
