Explanation:
Vehicle cannot be started despite code being disarmed or vehicle can be started despite code being armed.

Possible cause:
Wire from BC to DME defective.

Troubleshooting:
Check wire and repair if necessary (from white BC connector Pin 1 to DME control unit).

Note on code function. The code output of the BC provides the voltage supply. Other systems (e.g. ASC, DWA) may be connected to this output.
