Checking Brakes on Test Stand

NOTE: Before a brake test, the condition, the tread and the air pressure of the tires must be checked and corrected if necessary.

On vehicles with ASC+T, switch off the ASC+T switch: this can be recognized by the lit ASC+T indicator lamp in the instrument cluster.

Brakes should be at operating temperature. To achieve this, brake the car several times to slightly warm and dry brake discs and drums.

Always conform with instructions in Operating Manual supplied by relevant test stand manufacturer to avoid damage to the vehicle or system as well as injury.
