Consumer Cutout

1994- 1997, ALL MODELS - ZKE IV CONTROL







The consumer cutout feature was added to the body electronics control with ZKE IV It's purpose is to prevent battery drain by turning the interior lights (constant on) off after 16 minutes if the door is left open.

The interior lights are included in this function for all ZKE IV equipped vehicles. The convertibles also have the following lighting circuits controlled by this feature:
- Glove Box Light
- Trunk Light

The circuit will switch back on when any monitored wake up trigger such as the door contacts or the lock/unlock signals become active.
