Steering gear:
Steering gear could be damaged from impact forces if a vehicle is involved in an accident or operated in conditions similar to an accident. In the interests of safety, always comply with factory specification refer to Technical Service Bulletins.
Tie-rod joint:
For an evaluation of wear on ball joints, refer to Technical Service Bulletins.
Airbag:
Refer to Test Plan for Vehicle Electrics/Electronics for troubleshooting with the BMW DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM or by way of flash-code output.
