EML defect code (throttle valve reduction, increase, preset value):

Other indicators:

- In the case of a defect during the control phase, control can be continued via the DME system (ignition fade-out, ignition angle (timing) adjustment).
- Excessive vehicle jolts. "ASC defect" appears immediately in the instrument cluster display.

Test:

- Refer to test 10.1
- Check connectors, wires and connects that they are firmly fitted (no loose contacts).
- Clear defect code, check for other EML defect codes during test drive. Observe engine drag torque control.
- Read out defect code memory once again.
