Defect Code 01:

*D* 900 Defect code memory: Defect code 01 stored:

Explanation: This defect code is stored when ground is applied simultaneously at ZKE general module Pin D4 and D5. The general module detects both stage 1 and intensive wipe as switched on.

Possible cause: Wiper switch defective, one of the wires has a short to ground.

Troubleshooting:

1. Check wiper switch (see chapter - Component Testing), replace switch if necessary.

2. Check wires to Pin D4 and D5 (connector D, yellow) of general module for short to ground and repair wire if necessary.
