Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Testing and Inspection

RESISTANCE TEST
- Remove the intake air temperature sensor.
- Submerge sensor element in water and measure the resistance across sensor terminals.

@ 68° F = 2.2 K - 2.7 K ohms
@ 122° F = 760 - 910 ohms

Replace the air temperature sensor if the correct response is not obtained.
