Code 6 (Fuel Injector)

INJECTOR VALVE - OUTPUT STAGE WITHOUT CYLINDER REFERENCE
Explanation
This trouble code is stored if a break or short occurs temporarily at:
- An injector valve
- Wire from Digital Motor Electronic (DME) control unit to an injector valve
- Injector valve output stage in the DME control unit

NOTE: Detect code 6 can be ignored if an injector valve trouble code with cylinder assignment is also stored.

Troubleshooting
Perform component activation with tester at each injector valve. If the defect does not occur momentarily, check wires and terminals.
