Malfunction: Malfunction In EDC:

Effect of defect: Partial/total failure of the EDC

Troubleshooting: The following causes are possible and should be investigated:

Fuse No. F12 and F45

Fault in 12 V supply to control unit:

Terminal 15: Check wire and repair if necessary: From 10-pin control unit

connector Pin 4 via link connector to EDC relay K 67.

Terminal 30: From 26-pin control unit connector Pin 26 to link connector.

Ground connection of control unit faulty:

Check wire and repair if necessary: From 10-pin control unit connector Pin 6 to ground and from 26-pin control unit connector Pin 20 to analog ground.
