RETAILER SERVICE PROCEDURES

Utilizing the appropriate form from parts bulletin 06 04 96, follow all directions and fax to appropriate number.

The PDC will program replacement parts specifically to a VIN. This updates the vehicles records providing information for future parts ordering of EWS II system parts. Be extremely careful when filling the forms out to prevent mistakes in the VIN etc. EWS II system parts arrive ready for installation and coding. The data that has been programmed into the control module contains:

- VIN
- Central Coding Key
- ISN for the first factory installed DME
- Key ID codes for the original 10 keys
- Changing code groups for the original 10 keys
- System Password
