TEST PROCEDURE
Status Monitoring
Semi-sequential injection takes place as soon as the control unit receives the camshaft sensor signals. If the camshaft sensor signal is interrupted, Digital Motor Electronic (DME) switches over to full bank injection and double ignition.

Multimeter Test
Connect oscilloscope connections to component connector and run engine at idle speed. An AC voltage characteristic curve with positive and negative half wave should appear on the display screen.

Resistance test
The resistance can be measured directly at the component connector (at the connector strip for injector valves). Refer to Camshaft Position Sensor.
