Explanation
This defect code is stored when the Electronic Throttle Control (EML) engine temperature sensor signals a temperature outside the valid range from -40°F to 285°F -40°C 140°C.

Troubleshooting
- Check for break or short of associated wiring.
- Compare screen display (status monitoring) with actual sensor resitance value.
- Proceed with other displayed scan tool diagnostic instructions where applicable.
