1211/2211 - Control Module (DME)

Cancel the Digital Motor Electronic (DME) control unit fault code memory by disconnecting the control unit harness connector (control unit located in the E-Box); see COMPONENT LOCATIONS. Reconnect the DME control unit connector and test drive the vehicle.

^ If a fault code 1211 or 2211 is present, the DME control unit is defective. Always refer to CHECKING THE BASICS before replacing the control unit.
