Trouble Code 206 (Incorrect Fault Display)

INCORRECT FAULT DISPLAY
Explanation
The error message transmission appears in the instrument cluster despite normal operation of the transmission.

Possible Cause
The wire from control unit Pin 33 to the instrument cluster has a break or a short to positive.

Troubleshooting
Connect universal adapter and check wire.

a) With ignition "ON" measure between Pin 33 and 19. Battery voltage should be present.
b) With engine "ON" measure between Pin 33 and 19. Approx. 0 V should be present.
