Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR




If the displayed oil temperature in Status monitoring does not agree with the actual status, measure resistance of the oil temperature sensor with the control unit disconnected and ignition switched "Off".

9-pin Connector On Gearshift Unit:

If values deviate, check wire and plug-and-socket connection from control unit to transmission and repair if necessary. If OK: Replace wire harness in transmission control unit.
