*D* Defect code memory: Crash sensor was active

No defect!

Note: This information does not refer to a defect in the vehicle but rather it indicates that the crash sensor has temporarily switched ground to the ZVM due to a bump or impact.

The crash sensor is connected to Pin 14 of the 26-pole connector. If the crash sensor switches ground, the vehicle is unlocked, the interior lights (optional extra interior light package) are switched on and a signal is sent to the crash alarm generator.
