The following points must also be considered:

- Has the DME control module been replaced and has the ISN number been transferred to the EWS II control module?
- Is There a circuit problem between the EWS II control module and the starter?
- Is There a circuit problem between the EWS II and DME control modules?
- Is the key being used to start the vehicle recognized as a valid key by the EWS II?
The MoDiC and the latest programming software are the only method of synchronizing a new DME with an existing EWS II. The information on MoDiC software will be provided through the IDC Bulletins as the software is developed.
