Control Module Replacement






CAUTION: Review activating rollover protection system before disassembly.


- Remove insert for side trim panel.




With BMW SERVICE TESTER or MoDiC:
- Read and record meter readings on cabriolet soft-top module.
- Meter reading for number of times soft top was opened and closed.
- Meter reading for rollover protection system.
- Encode new control unit with MoDiC e.g.: installed special equipment.
- Initialize motor-driven soft top.




- Unfasten screws from cabriolet soft-top module (1).
- Disconnect connector.
