*D* Defect code memory: 15 Injection signal DME

Explanation:
This detect code is stored when the injection signal from the DME via the instrument cluster to the BC fails.

The BC calculates incorrect values for average consumption/range. The fuel consumption display (KVA) may also be faulty.

Possible causes:
Wire from DME control unit to instrument cluster defective; wire from instrument cluster to BC defective; injection signal from DME failed.

Troubleshooting:
Check wire and repair if necessary (from white BC connector Pin 6 to instrument cluster).

If wire OK. and defect not rectified, check wire from instrument cluster to DME control unit and repair as required.

If wire OK. and defect not rectified, continue with signal testing at DME control unit.
