Trouble Code 105 (Load Information DKT-Signal)

LOAD INFORMATION (DKT SIGNAL)
Explanation
This defect code is stored when the Digital Motor Electronic (DME) control unit detects a faulty throttle signal. The DME control unit signals this to the Electronic Transmission Control (EGS) control unit by sending on the DKT line a pulse width-modulated signal with a duty factor of 4% at a frequency of approx. 100 Hz.

Substitute Program
Fault indication, - maximum pressure, - emergency operation.

Possible Cause
Throttle potentiometer or its wires to the DME control unit defective.

Troubleshooting
Perform status monitoring and compare displayed accelerator pedal position with actual situation. Perform status monitoring in the DME as well as in the EGS program.
