Trouble Code 12 (Program Button)

PROGRAM BUTTON
Explanation
This defect code is stored when two or three of the lines to the control unit Pins 12 (S-program), 13 (E-program), 45 (* -program) are simultaneously connected to ground. Consequently, program switch-over is not possible.

Substitute Program
E-program is set by the control unit.

Possible Cause
Wires from program button to Electronic Transmission Control (EGS) control unit defective or program button defective.

Troubleshooting
Perform status monitoring - program button. Press program button and compare with tester display.
