Trouble Code 16 (Stall Speed Monitoring)

STALL SPEED MONITORING
Explanation
During operation, a check is made as to whether the ratio engine speed/trans-output speed is plausible for the engaged drive range.

Substitute Program
- Fault indication, - maximum pressure, - emergency operation.

Possible Cause
One of the speed sensors or wires is defective, or one of the clutches in the transmission slips.

Troubleshooting
Component testing speed sensor and test stall speed

CAUTION: Stall speed test should not last longer than five seconds.
