Windshield Wiper System

Troubleshooting the windshield wiper system is only available using the BMW diagnostic tester system.
The following trouble codes are possible system defects:
Code 01: Pins D4 and D5 of general body module are simultaneously grounded.
Code 02: Wiper relay module malfunction.
Code 03: Wiper motor is switched off by the blocking protection feature (when the return contact is continuously connected to ground for more than 30 seconds).
Code 04: All wiper/washer functions defective.
Code 05: All wiper functions defective.
Code 06: Single wiper functions defective.
Code 07: Windshield wipers do not park.
Code 08: Stage 1 runs in interval mode also when vehicle is moving.
Code 09: Washer pump or automatic wiper function after washing does not operate.
Code 10: Washer and intensive washer do not function.
Code 11: Intensive washer cycle defective.
