Components

There are two new components required for the DSC II control system:

Steering Angle Sensor







The steering angle sensor is combined in the housing of the steering angle sensor used for the EDC system.

DSC Control Processor







The DSC controller is integrated into the ABS/ASC+T5 processor. As with the ABS/ASC system there is a dual processor arrangement for redundancy checking and safety purposes.

DSC regulation uses the same output controls as ASC+T:

- Throttle regulation through the EML system.
- Engine regulation through the DME systems.
- Braking regulation through the ABS hydraulic unit.
